Mariam Petrosyan's novel "The House Where..." was first published in 2009. This work, consisting of three books, vividly and uniquely describes a closed society, its characteristic features, and the nuances of a newcomer's adaptation to a new environment. "The House" is a closed school for disabled children, the spatial and temporal coordinates of which are difficult to determine. Fantastic, magical motifs play a significant role in the plot, and the House turns into a mystical environment. The book has been translated into 11 languages and has won a number of awards. It is the winner of the "Russian Prize" literary award in the "Great Prose" genre (2009). It is presented in Armenian for the first time.
