On the outskirts of the city, among the usual new buildings, the Gray House rises, where the Smoker, the Sphinx, the Blind, the Lord, Tabaki, the Macedonian, the Black and others live. It is not known whether the Lord really comes from a noble family of dragons, but the Blind definitely does not see, and the Sphinx is wise and mysterious. Tabaki, of course, is not a jackal, although he likes to benefit from the good of others. Everyone in the house has his own nickname, and everyone has experienced so many stormy and eventful events there in one day that we, who live in the Outside World, very often do not even have time to live, feel and go through such a turmoil in a whole lifetime. The house accepted or rejected everyone in its own way. It contained many secrets, and the strange "skeletons in the closets" were the most understandable corner of the invisible world, where no one from the Outside World had access, where the usual laws of space-time ceased to operate. The house was much more than just a boarding school where children abandoned by their parents lived. The house was their own universe.
