The novel "Murder at the Vicarage" is Agatha Christie's first major work, in which we meet the all-seeing character of Miss Marple. The book was first published in 1930. It was staged as a play at the London Playhouse Theatre in 1949. The role of Miss Marple was played by the famous Barbara Mullen.
