A story about the successes and failures of the personal life of the architect of the bourgeoisie, philanthropist-businessman Mikayel Aramyants. "Aramyants" is a credible fictional account of the life of the genius entrepreneur and philanthropist Mikael Aramyants. The author introduces us to the origin of Armenian business, its development, the culture of relations between business constituencies, and, of course, the new culture of bourgeois philanthropy, which can be defined as a manifestation of humanism towards those who need compassion and help. The novel "Aramyants" is also the drama of one of the most brilliant entrepreneurs of the Russian Empire, a philanthropist and a patron of the Armenian, Tiflis, and Baku intelligentsia.
